KPAC Donation

Published on February 16, 2011 by

Make a $5 donation to the Kachina Peaks Avalanche Center and you could walk away with one of these setups.
the boards

On the left we have a 2005 Burton S-series 168 Splitboard with ~25.5 cm waist width and ~8 meter radius side-cut. Included are the Sparks ignition splitboard medium bindings! Sweetness!!!! The splitboard is in fair+ shape and could use a full tune and grind. It will make a great first splitboard for anyone that is 150+ pounds. Would also work great as a backup board or loaner so your splitboard-less friends can join your split-party. This is a directional all-mountain board.
On the right we have a 2004 Ride Decade 160 all-mountain snowboard with ~25.5 cm waist width and ~8 meter radius side-cut. Included are large Salomon Relay bindings and Burton elevators. Board is in mostly good shape but could use a tuneup.

Both of these boards have residual magic from first snowboard-descents in the volcanoes, mountains, and hills of Northern Arizona.

So how do ya get one of these?
The boards will be raffled at Shredder night on Friday the 25th at the Green Room in Flagstaff. Must be present to win. Raffle tickets only $5 each!!!

Spring Splitboarding in January

Published on January 30, 2011 by

Spring skiing in January? It has not snowed in one month, but there’s still fun snow, lots of big sunny sky, and even some rare powder stashes.

Ice, Snow, Endorphins and Adrenaline

Published on January 12, 2011 by

Mystic moments are not uncommon during a long ski tour. A link from mind to blog would be ideal. Thoughts to bytes. Direct. Without the direct link, most if not all is lost… so instead, here are some recent pictures sponsored by Snow and Ice, Endorphins and Adrenaline.
